It's been a busy week so far. Two days of work which were quite busy, an early Christmas party last night and the visit of my sister-in-law last night as well. This morning, John had to do a funeral today, so... it was 'up early, have coffee, a little chat, he took off, we had breakfast, a little chat and away she went to catch her plane'. I have a lunch appointment with a friend, and then a meeting at the church to discuss promotion of Stephen Ministry. I am just now doing the Minutes of our Leaders meeting last week and need to 'pull out' some key information.
Anyway, I realize this snow can be depressing for some (and I am not under any emotional darkness) and it is still a bit depressing for me! However, everything is calm and serene. Cool but serene! I know it is going to warm up again by the end of the week so that is a good thing. However, I also know it is not going to stay that way! Winter WILL come! I am not complaining about the snow as I really do like it, I just need to figure out what shoes I can wear as I have not found a good pair of boots yet that my orthotics will fit into. But...that's another story!
Thought for the day...It isn't the load that weighs us down - it's the way we carry it!
