Thanksgiving Leftovers

So we went to our 'early' Christmas/thanksgiving dinner party and after the exchange of our gifts, John ended up with this fellow. He has grown to be adorable to us (well, me).  Anyway, I have him sitting on the dining room table as a center piece for the moment. I thought originally I might put him outside but now I have changed my mind. The little critter is warming himself up to me. He is quite colorful and his neck is made of  heavy wire so he bobbs up and down when you touch him. Almost like he enjoys being petted! I love his fanned tail (made also of metal).  His body is from a coconut. He has  bright, colorful markings. Quite a mixture of ingredients. It is amazing how you can personify an object!!  We won't be eating this turkey (if that's what he is)! Where do people find these priceless artifacts!
