Exciting Ride

Well, we are back in Edmonton again. It was kind of hard to leave the clear pavement and green grass even if it was raining off and on. However, even with all the snow, it is beautiful here. +1 with blue sky and sunshine. The snow just makes everything look clean (except the roads which are slush and sand,and yuk)!

Pulled over by the siren & flashing lights

  

Interesting trip home from the airport. Our taxi got pulled over for dangerous driving as he sped past a patrol car which was sitting on the side of the road investigating a car in the ditch. He was on our tail pretty fast. You have to slow down to 60 when passing a stopped patrol car. I need to check out that exact speed but we think it is 60, not 50.





I took this picture through the back window of the cab. Pretty dirty. Anyway, we are home now. The driver still charged us the regular fare but offered an apology.

We had a good time with the kids and I even got a few good videos of them. I wish I could figure out how to download them but that has not happened yet. I will keep trying. In the meantime I figured out how to do black and white on my camera so here is our little angel!

Anyway, back into routine.  It already feels like we never went anywhere!
