It is absolutely beautiful this morning. The sun is rising in the east to a clear blue sky with a combination of cloud formations. The sun bouncing off the clouds is making them out to be pink and orange and there are open patches of blue that are turquoise and 'cashmere sweater' blue. A new colour! Unbelievable! That all happened a few minutes ago and now it has changed. I was going for my camera but didn't have enough time. Oh well, it is in my mind now forever! Again....wow! Oh, wait,... it is now a dark blue in the clouds with lighter pink and mauve on the bottom of the clouds. The horizon remains the turqouise colour. Truly amazing. I don't think I have seen sunrises like this before. It must be that it is Fall and the orange and red and pink leaves are reflecting off the clouds?! Probably not, but it sure looks great.
My aunt died yesterday. A wonderful lady and one I wish I had spent more time with. She was the one who came to the funerals and weddings. The one who always 'showed up'. A hearty laugh...deep and throaty. Her voice was that way too - even though she did not smoke. She was a strong woman. She was the youngest of my dad's family so that is all of them now. They have all passed away. Sad. The whole family. We will miss you, Aunt Margaret. Rest in peace.

My Mom and Dad both came from large families but all of their siblings have passed away. It's rather sad when all of our connections to the past are gone! As you and I have discussed before - all of the questions, all of the conversations that we wish we had had! My condolences to you about your loss.
