Round Trip

We made a l-o-n-g but beautiful day-trip to Herbert, SK yesterday. We were up at 4 am and returned home by 11:30 PM! It was quite the day. We were headed to a funeral and did one giant loop to Saskatchewan and back via southern Alberta. Got to enjoy the same day morning sunrise and sunset!! The daytime temperature reached a scorching 35 C - no clouds, only a canopy of blue sky - absolutely beautiful!

I don't think we could do too many of those long drives, one after another. It was a total of 16 hours and 1490 km. Therefore, today was a rest and relax day.
