Computer gliche

I'm having difficulty with my computer. Of course, I have no idea why it is doing what it is doing. It takes F-o-r-e-v-e-r to move from one program to another, from one email to another within the same program, and sometimes it doesn't move at all.  NOT RESPONDING has become it's mantra!!! So, what does a person do?

I have been shutting it off and waiting 15 minutes and turning it back on again. Sometimes that works. It just means that MORE TIME is involved in waiting........ I thought these machines would save us time but in fact, they add more time to everything you do.  I have found that it is a 'game' we play.  I pretend I am not in a hurry when I sit down because if I am....somehow IT knows it! Then, the 'games' begin!  Have you ever noticed that when you ARE in a hurry is when your computer acts up! or slows down! I have restrained myself a number of times from throwing my mouse through the kitchen window! Restraint I say, restraint!  I am practising it regularly now!

On a different topic, it snowed last night. Of course it did as I washed my car. This morning the ground was covered white. Beautiful. Now, I just need to wait until the sun dries up the road so I can go out and do my errands but I am NOT going until the roads are dry. Why spend $10+ for a full car wash and then go out and have it covered in sand and salt! I will wait. Yesterday, the weatherman said it would not snow until Sat nite - possibly 15 cm. I figured by then my car would be fully dry and it would be cold so the snow would not matter. Hah! it is +1 C right now and it is melting. We likely had a couple cm's as we did have to shovel but hopefully it will not stay and I can go out this afternoon. Seems like the odds are against me. How do they know I washed my car?
