Sunday and the sun is shining but it is cold - 17 C with no wind. It looks beautiful from the INSIDE out! Lots of sparkles on the snow and shadows from the trees. Really pretty.
Met a number of new people this morning at church. Really interesting how lives intersect. I think a few of these women could turn out to be very good friends. I hope they will return next week and we can connect once more. New to the church and to the city. I need to be diligent about this and invite them out for coffee or over for supper sometime.
I am in the midst of cleaning up the spare room. Why is it that everything seems to end up in there? books, papers, magazines, Christmas gifts, parcels, shoes, clothes, kids toys, colouring books, crayons, small cars.....
I am trying to downsize but it is hard. It is VERY hard when you are a HOARDER. I think I have finally come to that realization. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, it just takes up space. I love everything I have and don't want to get rid of it. However, you know you are hoarding when you run across something and say 'oh, that's where it is'. You would think if it has been missing that long that you wouldn't need it but no....now I have found it again, I want to keep it. Dahhhhhh
Anyway, guess I should go visit my friend who never gets out. It is not the kind of day you want to venture out but...it's the right thing to do.
