Gone but not forgotten

I'm feeling guilty this morning because my little spider friend is no more.  The web he was making and the critters caught up in it were getting to be a bit too much. John removed it all this morning. My view now is clear but in my heart there's a bit of sadness. Because I really DON'T like spiders, I had been using this guy as a means to help me 'get over it'. I think I was dealing better with just looking at him but he still made my skin crawl! I am sure it won't be long before another one moves in to take his place but in the meantime, I will enjoy the open space and blue sky.
