Halloween Guests

Well, it was a wonderful day and evening for the little 'trick &  treat' people. They were out early while it was still light. It is now 7:30 pm and they are still coming slow but sure - but older. More the grade 5 level. Still...lots of costumes and enthusiasm. One group of three sang a song - don't know the words or ever heard it before - but it was all about candy and different kinds that they wanted - very interesting! Anyway, I gave them extra candy for their effort.


Our neighbor Ken Marj came over about 4 pm as they had to rush to the hospital. His sister was taken in suddenly and they said it did not look good. Her name is Audrey. They dropped all their candy off with us (they had lots) and asked us to look after it. They also gave us their jack o lantern. I have it in the front window lite up! Looks great. I have only done that once and that was a loooooong time ago!


Supper has been candy, candy and more candy. Definitely flying high! It is now 8:30 and no one has come for 45 minutes so I am 'closing down'. More candy for me!
