Enjoy the moments

We had quite the spring snowstorm yesterday. Of course, it is all a result of the fact that I washed my car. You would never know that today. The moisture is definitely needed so I will not complain. Having said that, snowstorms are not good for everyone. Yesterday morning, as we were all complaining and talking about the snow, a father and his two young children were killed in a whiteout in Winterburn and hit by the Via train. Three lives instantly taken and the lives of their loved ones completely changed forever. You never know when the last day is upon you.

We had another good turnout for our Life Team meeting last night, despite the weather. One couple was just returning from Jasper and drove (more or less) directly to our place last night. They did not experience any snow until Stony Plain and were amazed at how much snow was in the City! Weather can be so concentrated at times, eh!  At the end of the evening, one of the ladies was showing her hobby. It was making and selling greeting cards. Interesting, pretty and creative. We 'gobbled them up' and she made quite a little 'nest egg' from our purchases!  Just in time for mothers day, birthdays, thank-yous, thinking of you, etc. etc. etc.

We are headed off to Bonnyville tomorrow at lunch and the weather is supposed to improve day by day. There is no snow there, as it was Edmonton south and east that got it this time. Lots of moisture here for the ground.

I leave you with a blessing: Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Does that not fill you with joy? It sounds so hopeful and beneficial. How can you now NOT have a great day?!
